Betty Sosh

Betty Mitchell Sosh, 73 of Utica passed away on January 10, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on November 8, 1944 in McLean County to the late William and Mary F. Wimp Mitchell. She was a member of the Pentecostal Faith, retired from Westinghouse. She enjoyed sewing and was a avid painter. She was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter.

Surviving is her husband, friend and companion, Delmar Sosh of 55 years; also surviving are her children, Randy (Sherry) Sosh of Utica, Gregory Sosh of Lewisport and Delena Trogdon of Utica; five grandchildren, Tina Marie Sosh, Tonya (Steven) Barr, Brandon (Melissa) Trogdon, Ryan Sosh and Nathan Sosh; three great-grandchildren, Kaidyn Barr, Sadie Trogdon and Owen Barr. Her siblings, Sue Milby of Greensburg and Patsy Sosh of Owensboro.

Services will be at 10:00 Monday, January 15, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory from 4:00 to 8:00pm Sunday and from 8:00 to 10:00am Monday. Pastor Thomas Webb will officiate. Burial to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. The family request that expression of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky 2419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, Ky. 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
