Chris Lyle Hart, 65, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at her home. She was born May 13, 1953 in Camp Atterbury, Indiana. Chris was a former director of the Safe Children Foundation and held an Associate's Degree in Medical Office Assistance. She had been very active with the Theater Workshop of Owensboro for many years and things she did included directing, acting, and helping with costumes. She loved singing, dancing, art painting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a self-proclaimed "Army brat and preacher's kid", Chris lived in many different cities while growing up.
Chris was preceded in death by her father, Arcy Wayne Lyle in 2010, and two sisters, Vicki Combs in 2013 and Sandy Atkinson in 2017.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Branson Hart, three daughters, Rachel Humphrey and husband Doug and Erin Price and husband Bruce, all of Livermore, and Lauren Hart of Dothan, Alabama, her mother, Lenette Lyle of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Bailey Troutman and husband Hunter, Logan Price, Parker Humphrey, and Garrett Price, all of Livermore, two great grandchildren, Josslyn and Kash Troutman of Livermore, a sister, Lisa Mascenik of Owensboro, a brother, Joe Lyle of Morris Plains, N. J., and a brother-in-law, John Combs of Owensboro.
The Funeral Service for Chris Hart will be Noon Friday, May 3, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 10:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
