Cora Mae Tucker, 84, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Owensboro Center. She was born June 7, 1934 in Daviess Co. to the late William Arthur and Anna Mae Clark Foster. Cora was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She had worked at General Electric at one time for several years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons and enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for them.
Cora was also preceded in death by her husband, William Halbert Tucker in November of 2007, three brothers, William, Robert, and James Foster, and a sister, Sally Postiglione.
Surviving are her son, Glenn Tucker and wife DeAnn of League City, Texas, two grandsons, Bradley and Owen Tucker, both of Louisville, a sister, Lena Probus and husband Sidney of Owensboro, three sisters-in-law, Lou Foster, Cora Foster, and Beverly Foster, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Cora Mae Tucker will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
