Damon Gayheart

Damon Christopher Gayheart, 44, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on November 2, 1973, to the late Calvin Gayheart and Mary Newcomb. Damon was a member of Rushing Wind Church of God.

Damon is survived by his children, Jordan Welch and Cadie (Jonathon) Goodwin both of Owensboro, and Sidnee Brubaker of South Carolina; three grandchildren; two brothers, Carl (Kristi) Nickells and Richard (Trinka) Tingler, both of Owensboro.

Services will be noon Monday, September 24, 2018, at Haley McGinnis Funeral & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am to noon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Damon Gayheart Memorial Fund; 519 Locust Street; Owensboro, Kentucky 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
