David Boyce

David Laurence Boyce, 51, of Philpot, died Saturday, November 17, 2018 . He was born on September 4, 1967 in Erie, PA to David and Carol Boylan Boyce. He had worked at Aleris for 22 years and was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church where he was part of the Tool Box Ministry. He was a United States Navy Veteran, Seabee. David enjoyed turkey hunting, woodworking and helping others. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David E. and Dorothy Boyce, Laurence and Wilma Van Dyk; a cousin, Steven Ellsworth Boyce; uncles, Matthew Boyce, Edward Crosby, Ralph Bernsley; and an aunt, Mary Ann Bernsley.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqui Stanley Boyce; sons David Allen and Steven Paul Boyce; his parents, David and Carol Boyce; a brother Sean (Valerie) Boyce; aunts, Lynette (Bob) Goettman of Mercer, PA, Kathie Boyce and Judy Crosby of Erie, PA ; cousin, Sheri Hoffman; and many other family and friends.

Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory and from 10:00-11:00a.m. Tuesday at Lewis Lane Baptist Church. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Lewis Lane Baptist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery with Military Honors.
