Deborah Knight

Deborah Lynn Knight, 32, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at her residence. She was born on August 15, 1985 in Owensboro to William Alfred Knight and Lila "Sue" Reed Knight. Deborah a future member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, enjoyed using her cell phone, TV, movies and the internet.

Deborah was preceded in death by her brother, William Dale Knight.

Along with her parents, Deborah is survived by her children, Joshua Lee Thompson of Iowa, Michael Dean Hughes, II and Dezzy Hughes, both of Owensboro. She is also survived by her sister, Lori (Craig) Whittaker of Hawesville, KY.

Services will be Noon, Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Stephen Cathedral, with Father Jaime Dennis officiating. Entombment will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Deborah Lynn Knight Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
