Dorothy Tucker

Dorothy Stevens Tucker, 83, of Mount Juliet, TN, formerly of Owensboro, passed away February 21, 2018. She was born December 5, 1934 in Garrard Co., KY to the late Logan and Mary Morgan Stevens. Dorothy was a member of 3rd Baptist Church in Owensboro. Dorothy was a homemaker. She was extraordinarily gifted as a professional level seamstress and continued that for nearly 40 years. Dorothy then began the journey of quilting and was a member of several quilting clubs. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Henry Clay Stevens.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby G. Tucker; a daughter, Cynthia J. Tucker (Lee Nelson); son, Keith A. Tucker (Karen); two grandchildren, Eden Tucker and Simon Tucker; brothers, Arch Stevens, John Stevens, James Stevens and Joe Stevens, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
