Etta Sutherland

Etta L. Sutherland, 89 of Owensboro passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. She was born November 27, 1928 in Owensboro, KY. Mrs. Sutherland was a member of the Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church, Owensboro, KY where she served faithfully on the Usher Board. She worked at W.R. Grace in Owensboro, KY for several years.

She was preceded in death by her former husband’s Carl Starling and Richard Sutherland.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories 1 son Alex Montgomery of Owensboro, 2 daughters Judith Meriwether of Owensboro, and Linda Long of Norcross, GA., 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 sister Emma Parker of IL., several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are at 10am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at The Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church Owensboro, KY.

Visitation 5pm – 7pm at the church on Friday, October 12, 2018 and Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 9am – 10am.  Burial in Rose Hill Elmwood Cemetery, Owensboro with Rev. Mario Pearson, Eulogist.
