Frances Lorene Apman, 83, of Owensboro, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. She was born on September 28, 1934 in Edmonson County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Alvie and Ruth Wingfield. She worked at Moonlite Bar-B-Q for 26 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Lee Renfrow; second husband and the love of her life, Robert Franklin Apman; sons, James Edward Renfrow and Anthony "Tony" Ray Renfrow; brothers, Earl and Billy Wingfield; and sisters, Helen Ison, Mary Clark McElwain and Alta Reed.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Layman (William), Darlene Peay (Randy) and Patricia Aull all of Owensboro, KY; two sons, Jeffrey Allen Renfrow of Owensboro and Timothy Wayne Renfrow (Valerie) of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.
