Geneva Whitmer

Geneva Arlene Whitmer, 90, of Owensboro, passed away February 22, 2018 at Twin Rivers Nursing Home. She was born July 20, 1927 to the late James Gus and Viola Stewart Whitmer. Geneva was an expert seamstress and of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by brother, James Albert Whitmer and twin brothers, Isaac Elvin Whitmer and Finis Melvin Whitmer.
Geneva is survived by her only sister, Nadine Whitmer Evans and her husband, Joe Frank Evans. She is also survived by three nieces, Jo Ellen Buchanan, Julie Kay Spalding and Jennifer Lea Cornelius.
The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Geneva is survived by her only sister, Nadine Whitmer Evans and her husband, Joe Frank Evans. She is also survived by three nieces, Jo Ellen Buchanan, Julie Kay Spalding and Jennifer Lea Cornelius.
