Helen Allen Bellamy

Helen Allen Bellamy, 73, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her home. The Daviess County native was born April 19, 1949, to the late Cecil and Nancy Allen. Helen graduated from OHS and worked as a Nurses Aid for over 19 years at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital retiring in 1990. She enjoyed watching TV, especially the Hallmark Channel, Golden Girls, and Princess Diaries. Helen loved spending time with her family. She was a joyful, sweet, caring individual who could also be silly and make people laugh. Helen was a member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Helen also was preceded in death by her twin sister, Nancy Parks and her brother, Phillip Allen.

Survivors include her daughter, Ginger Bellamy; grandchildren, Cody and Tasha Barnes; brother, Earl Allen; nephews, Marcus and Floyd Parks (Amy); several nieces, Tammy Howard (Tommy), Tracy Allen, Penny Pendleton (Michael), and April Hayes (Rodney).   

A graveside service will be noon, Wednesday, September 7 at Rosehill Cemetery.
