James II

James "Jimmy" Robert Payne II, 54, of Owensboro, Kentucky passed away August 5, 2018 in his home. He was born in Owensboro on November 3, 1963 to Joyce Travers Payne and the late James Robert Payne. James was the owner of General Glass Company. He attended St. Stephen Cathedral and was a member of Owensboro Antique Auto Club. James enjoyed working on antique cars, competing and attending car shows, fishing, grilling, and spending time with friends and family.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Payne and sister, Lisa Ann Payne.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Robin Marie Payne, daughters: Taylor Nichole Payne, Kayla Cheyenne Payne; sisters: Tammy (David) Howard, and Sandra Bayles, all of Owensboro.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, and Friday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.
