Joseph Goetz

Joseph "Earl" Goetz, 80, of Masonville, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home. He was born July 26, 1938 in Daviess Co. to the late Hubert and Margaret Payne Goetz. Earl was retired from the Daramic Corp., was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church, and was a U. S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed bowling, U. K. basketball, spending time with his grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Ameka. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Kenneth, George, Ed, and Bob Goetz.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Lucille Goetz, a son, Mark Goetz of Owensboro, two daughters, Deborah Goetz and Pam Gillaspie and husband Chuck, all of Owensboro, three grandchildren, Matthew Goetz and wife Megan of Evansville, Laura Beth Gillaspie and Ethan Fortner, both of Owensboro, three great grandchildren, Rayne, Dorian, and Avery, and a sister, Mary Helen Nash and husband Lloyd of Masonville.

The Funeral Service for Joseph Earl Goetz will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the graveside at Elmwood Cemetery with burial following. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
