Matthew Fitzgerald

Matthew Edward Fitzgerald, 30, of Owensboro, KY died on April 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born on October 12, 1987 in Owensboro to Elton Martin and Suzanna Bartlett Fitzgerald. He was employed as a CNA at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. Matthew was a member of Crosspointe Church. He attended Kentucky Wesleyan College where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. He loved to fish, be around kids, his work and playing music. Matthew was a passionate man.

Survivors include his fiancee, Ray Foreman of Owensboro; his parents, Martin and Suzie Fitzgerald of Owensboro; stepchildren, Maliah Foreman, Malaysia Gregory, Faith Gregory and R.J. Gregory all of Owensboro; a sister, Katie Priest (Jeremy) of Owensboro; a niece, Myla Priest of Owensboro; his maternal grandmother, Pat Allen of Maryville, Tennessee; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Crosspointe Church, Owensboro. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
