Mildred Roach

Mildred Roach, 85, of Owensboro, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2014. She was born in Whitesville on August 26, 1929 to the late Paul and Mary Church Welsh. Mildred worked for GE for over 30 years and was a member of St Joseph & Paul Catholic Church. She was a loving woman who enjoyed to cook, travel, sit on the porch in the summer, watch movies in the winter, and playing on her Ipad. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Roach Sr.

She is survived by her children, Wesley Roach Jr., Alice Taylor, Brenda Smith, Larry Roach (Bonnie Bullock), and Ronnie (Mary Lynne) Roach. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

The service for Mildred will be 4 pm Tuesday December, 23 2014 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 until time of service on Tuesday.
