Timmy Wilhite, Sr., 60, of Owensboro passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 while under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky. He was born October 19, 1963 in Daviess County to the late Phillip and Frances Stewart Wilhite. Tim enjoyed fishing, playing pool, collecting eagles, listening to rock music, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, watching wrestling, and Nascar. He had served in the Army National Guard He basically loved life and family to the fullest. Tim was also preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Shouse and a brother, William “Franky” Wilhite.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Wilhite, Jr. and Cecil Wilhite, both of Maceo; two grandchildren, Tyler Wilhite of Tell City and Haley Wilhite of Louisville; a sister, Jo Wilhite-Hodges (Bill) of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Noon Monday, March 25, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 6 PM Sunday and 10 AM until the time of the service at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
