Tom Hamilton

Tom Hamilton, 74, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born on October 16, 1943 in Daviess County to the late Dallas Hamilton and Lola Westerfield Hamilton. Tom was employed by LG&E as an operation supervisor for 36 years. He was a member of St. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Tom was a youth soccer coach and a basketball coach at Cliff Hagan Boys and Girls club. He loved reading and driving.

Along with his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his brothers, Leon and Donnie.

Tom is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judy Salee Hamilton, children: Laura (Jay) Wilkerson of Spencer, Indiana, Tom (Carolyn) Hamilton Jr. of Monks Corner, South Carolina, Jeff (Becky) Hamilton of Lexington, Kentucky; Seven grandchildren: Daniel, Sarah, Alex, Dallas, Clint, Max, Jamie; three great-grandchildren, and three siblings, Shirley, Betty, and "Bootsie".

Services will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Haley McGinnis Funeral & Crematory, with Father Basilio officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
