Tony Higgs

Tony Ray Higgs, 61, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of the Bishop Soenneker Home, died December 27, 2017 at Owensboro Center. He was born on February 10, 1956 in Owensboro to the late Ruby and Aline Robison Higgs. He was previously employed as a groundskeeper for Rosehill & Elmwood Cemetery. He enjoyed drawing, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Givans (Larry); a niece, Jennifer True (Eric); a nephew, Robbie Pryor (Shelly); and great nieces and nephews, April, Kelsey and Julia True and Kailei and Waylon Pryor.

Services are 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro. Visitation is from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Tony Ray Higgs Memorial Fund, 3009 Frederica St., Owensboro, KY 42301.
