Wallace Smith

Wallace L. Smith, 78, of Owensboro, went to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. He was born January 27, 1941 in McHenry, KY and was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Dorothy Kerr Smith and two brothers, Jerry Lynn Smith and James Smith. Wallace was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and a U. S. Air Force veteran.

Surviving are his devoted wife of 54 years, Bobbi Smith, his children, Jean Roark, Jerry Smith and wife Roxanna, Susie Adams and husband Rickey, Randy Smith and wife LaDonna, Kim Taul and husband Sidney, Jason Smith, and C. K. Smith and wife Morgan, 16 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren and one on the way.

The Funeral Service for Wallace Smith will be Noon Thursday, April 11, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Private graveside services will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon Thursday at the funeral home.
