William Early, Sr.

William Bedford Early, Sr., 81, of Philpot, died on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his home. He was born March 17, 1938 in Daviess County to the late William Early and Ines Mae Pryor Early. He had been employed as a electrician and was a US Navy veteran. William enjoyed building and flying radio control planes and playing with Banjo, the family pet.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Delois Early; siblings, Eldred Early, Jeanette Basham, Shirley Love, and Betty Sparks.

Survivors include sons, William B. Early, Jr. (Barb) and William Bradley Early; daughters, Sheila Gayle Buschkoetter (Jim), Jennifer Goins, and Kristina Goins Rice (Shannon); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 12 p.m. noon on Monday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
